Nearly 60 years Old!! Late 1950's... very early 1960's paintings on UPSON Board with Matching Original 'Highwaymen' frames: 12" x 22" - Overall Framed 14.5" x 25"
These paintings are as ORIGINAL as you will every 'get' !!
By 'now', James had 'left' doing his Black & White 'Mono-Chromes', and began adding Color. Not VIBRATE... but just COLOR !! With HEAVY 'Palette' Knife work!
And the J. Gibson signature is 'scratched' into the paint... as was usually done!
