1923  -  16 Gauge - PARKER BROS, MAKERS, MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A., TROJAN STEEL

Serial Number 208471

A Very Original Parker!

'Unrestored'... i.e. 'Never Messed With...'

An Original Old Parker: Excellent Over-All Condition: Most Bluing is 85% +++: Weak points are in the Wood Stock... There are two 'Cracks' that can be felt on the right side of the Pistol Grip (see Pic). Also I believe the 'Stock' has been refinished; the 'Checkering' is 'smooth' and appears to be under the 'Finish'. The 'Cracks' would need to be dealt with, and the Checkering 'Re-Cut', both can be Done Easily by a True Professional!! The METAL needs nothing, Not New, but in Fantastic Condition for 85 years Old!!! I acquired this Beautiful piece over 20 years ago, when I purchased around 15 'Guns' of this Era, from an Estate in Palm Beach, Florida. I believe I am the Second Owner of this 1923, 16 Ga., Trojan Double Parker!! Something that does not need saying... since 'YOU' are looking at a PARKER... BUT I'll never cease to be amazed, how this Shotgun 'POINTS'... One could truly Hit a Target... 'Blindfolded'!!! I am listing this Parker for what I FEEL is well under market; to give the Buyer that amount to 'Restore' the 'Stock'.
