Removed from an OMC 350 Chevrolet Marine Engine

The DEEP Sump (on the left) measures 7 1/2'' far left to 9 1/4'' right-middle.

Barely Used...

Excellent Interior !

Very little Corrosion, except on...

the Forward Face of the Deep Sump... as seen below.

CLOSER...

None of the 'Pitting' goes through !!

However, to STOP any further corrosion, I would Sand / Bead Blast the pitted area; then fill with one of the several excellent Aluminum - Epoxy 2 part fillers that are readily available.
