Unfortunately, it has separated from the 'Manual'. There are several ways to 'repair' this; or just leave it 'Untouched' and Original !

Once 'inside'... the ONLY 'Damage' found is from AGE (some discoloring of page edges) and a few stains on the 1st & 2nd pages.

Based on the below prices I would start the auction at the same numbers as the Parts Manual. $999.00 with a 'Buy It Now' of $1500.00. From what I can find, the 1954 Edition WSMs are not showing up much anymore.
